Open Space Advisory Board DATE: July 19, 2016 TIME: 6:00 PM LOCATION: *COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 13133 E. ARAPAHOE ROAD* Minutes 1. Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 6:05 p.m. 2. Note Attendance and Determination of Quorum Those present were: Tom Wood Justin Hamel Rick Meckstroth Those absent were: Olivia Mayer Ron Monk Leah Baker-Camper Matt Lunn - unexcused Also present were: Stephanie Piko, Council Member Kathy Turley, Council Member Steve Greer, Community Development Director Jennifer Houlne, Senior Planner Karen Brookes, Staff and recording secretary 3. Approval of Minutes Justin Hamel motioned and Rick Meckstroth seconded approval of the June 28, 2016 minutes as presented. All members present voted aye and the minutes were approved. 4. Additions to Agenda There were no additions to the agenda. 5. General Public Comments There were no public comments. 6. Discussion Items a. Preferred Parks, Open Space, Trails, and Recreation Master Plan Consultant Presentation and Recommendation to City Council – Jennifer Houlne, Planner II, presented. Also presenting was Chris Geddes, Project Manager for Design Workshop. A vote for recommendation for Staff to move forward with their recommendation to move forward with Design Workshop was taken. All those present voted aye and the vote was approved. Agenda – Open Space Advisory Board March 22, 2016 Page 2 b. 2017 Budget Discussion and Recommendation to City Council – Steve Greer, Community Development Director, presented. A vote for recommendation for Staff to move forward with the Open Space Budget recommendation to City Council was taken. All those present voted aye and the vote was approved. 7. Action Items There were no additions to the agenda. 8. Other Business There were no other items of business. 9.
