Open Space Advisory Board MINUTES DATE: Tuesday, February 27, 2018 TIME: 6:00 PM LOCATION: Council Chambers Minutes 1 Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. 2 Note Attendance and Determination of Quorum Those present were: Mary Parsons Tom Wood Justin Hamel Rick Meckstroth Jane Larson Also present were: Kathy Turley, Council Member Jennifer Houlne, Principal Planner Alex Grimsman, Planner II Karen Brookes, Recording Secretary 3 Approval of Minutes Justin Hamel recommended approval of the January 23, 2018 minutes, Rick Meckstroth seconded the motion. All members present voted aye and the minutes were approved. 4 Additions to Agenda There were no additions to the agenda. 5 General Public Comments There were no public comments. 6 Discussion Items a East - West Trail Grant Application Jenny Houlne, Principal Planner, presented on moving forward with a grant application for this project. Jane Larson recommended approval of the support of the OSAB with moving forward for application of a grant for this item; Tom Wood seconded the motion. All members present voted aye and the recommendation was approved. Agenda – Open Space Advisory Board 2/27/2018 6:00:00 PM Page 2 b Orchard Road Trail Grant Application – item removed from agenda at beginning of meeting. 7 Action Items There were no action items. 8 Other Business Tom Wood, OSAB member, shared information that he heard about a Golf Course on the far end of town and conversations they may or may not have had with SSPRD and the City of Centennial. 9 Adjournment The meeting adjourned at 6:15 p.m. THE NEXT OPEN SPACE ADVISORY BOARD MEETING WILL BE HELD 3/27/2018 at 6:00:00 PM NOTICE: Please call 303-754-3358 if you believe you will need special assistance in order to be in attendance at any of the City's public meetings.
