Planning and Zoning Commission CITY OF CENTENNIAL PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING February 26, 2014, 7:00 PM *COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 13133 E. ARAPAHOE ROAD* MINUTES I. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. II. ROLL CALL Those present were: Chairman Russ Powell Commissioner Martin Hill Jr. Commissioner Johnathan Sims Commissioner Michael Sutherland Commissioner Andrea Suhaka Commissioner Richard Baird Commissioner Lynn Goering Commissioner Frank Halcromb Commissioner Don Gregg Those absent were: Also present were: Robert Widner, City Attorney Jill Hassman, Assistant City Attorney Andrew Firestine, Deputy Director of Community Development Jeff Brasel, Deputy Director of Community Development Heather Vidlock, Principal Planner Amy Johnson, Planner I Lisa Gajowski, Recording Secretary a. Alternate Selection for Voting Purposes III. CONSENT AGENDA The Consent Agenda can be adopted by a simple motion. The Consent Agenda will be read aloud prior to a vote on the motion. Any Consent Agenda item may be removed from the Consent Agenda at the request of a Planning and Zoning Commissioner for individual consideration. a. Consideration of Resolutions i. LU-14-00011 Centennial Center Park Site Plan b. Consideration of Other Items c. Approval of Minutes Minutes – Planning and Zoning Commission February 26, 2014 Page 2 i. February 12, 2014 Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting Minutes Chairman Powell moved to approve the consent agenda with an amendment to the minutes noting that the Cherry Hills Assisted Living contain comments noting the concerns expressed by Commissioners Hill and Goering. Commissioner Suhaka seconded the motion. With Commissioners Baird, Goering, Hill, Sims, Suhaka, Sutherland and Chairman Powell voting AYE and none voting NAY the consent agenda was APPROVED by a vote of 7 AYE and 0 NAY. IV. LAND USE APPLICATIONS/PUBLIC HEARINGS V. OTHER BUSINESS a. Planning and Zoning Commission Bylaws Public Hearing Procedures Bob’s Rules of Orders Jill Hassman, Assistant City Attorney, reviewed the draft Planning and Zoning Commission Bylaws, and Public Hearing Procedures. Robert Widner, City Attorney, reviewed Bob's Rules of Order. VI. LONG RANGE AGENDA a. Long Range Agenda VII.
