PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING December 12, 2018, 6:00 PM 13133 E. ARAPAHOE ROAD MINUTES 1 CALL TO ORDER Chair Pro Tem Urtz called the meeting to order at 6:01 PM. 2 ROLL CALL Those present were: Chair Pro Tem Urtz Commissioner Beatty Commissioner Cohen Commissioner Larimer Commissioner Rewerts Commissioner Roberts Commissioner Scales Commissioner Suhaka Those absent were: Chair Sims Also present were: Jill Hassman, Assistant City Attorney Derek Holcomb, Deputy Community Development Director Jenny Houlne, Principal Planner Alex Grimsman, Planner II Jennifer Wood, Recording Secretary a Alternate Selection for Voting Purposes Commissioner Scales was appointed as a voting member in the absence of Chair Sims. 3 CONSENT AGENDA Commissioner Suhaka moved approval of the CONSENT AGENDA. Commissioner Rewerts seconded the motion. With Commissioners Beatty, Cohen, Larimer, Rewerts, Scales, Suhaka, and Chair Pro Tem Urtz voting AYE, and (None) voting NAY; the motion was approved by a vote of seven (7) AYE and none (0) NAY. a Consideration of Resolutions Minutes – Planning and Zoning Commission 12/12/2018 6:00:00 PM Page 2 b Consideration of Other Items c Approval of the November 28, 2018, Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes 4 LAND USE APPLICATIONS/PUBLIC HEARINGS 5 OTHER ITEMS a University of Colorado Denver Studio - Reimagining Festival Center Chris Geddes, Associate with Design Workshop and Lecturer with University of Colorado Denver Master of Urban and Regional Planning program, introduced the project. The students presented their project and the Commissioners responded with questions and comments. b Planning and Zoning Commission Discussion of Centennial NEXT The Commissioners discussed the Centennial NEXT Comprehensive Plan and talked about scheduling future discussions. 6 UPDATES Mr. Holcomb gave the updates. 7 ADJOURNMENT The meeting adjourned at 8:13 PM.
