MINUTES OF THE CENTENNIAL CITY COUNCIL Regular City Council Meeting 7:00 PM Tuesday, April 1, 2025 A Regular Meeting of the City Council was held on this date in the Council Chambers at 13133 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, Colorado. Mayor Pro Tem Sutherland opened the public hearing and seeing no one wishing to speak, the public hearing was closed. Council Member Maurer moved to Approve RESOLUTION NO. 2025-R-13, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTENNIAL, COLORADO, AMENDING THE 2025 BUDGET AND APPROVING SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE STREET, OPEN SPACE AND CONSERVATION TRUST FUNDS. Council Member Tharp seconded the motion. With Council Member Alston, Council Member Carnes, Council Member Holt, Council Member Maurer, Council Member Sheehan, Council Member Sutherland, Council Member Sweetland, Council Member Tharp voting AYE, and (None) voting NAY; Absent: 1. THE MOTION Passed. 13 Consideration of Other Items a 2024 Year-End Preliminary Financials Discussion; 7:35 PM Jeff Cadiz, Finance Director, presented. b Residential Height Minimums in Midtown Centennial Discussion; 7:52 PM David King, Senior Planner, presented. Consensus was for staff to proceed as presented and return to council at a later date with an Ordinance. c Quarterly Council Review of Monetary Sponsorship/Donation Requests; 8:21 PM Council Member Maurer moved to approve the monetary sponsorship request from South Suburban Parks and Recreation District for the High Line Canal Run in the amount of $1,500 and manner requested. Council Member Sweetland seconded the motion. With Council Member Alston, Council Member Carnes, Council Member Holt, Council Member Maurer, Council Member Sheehan, Council Member Sutherland, Council Member Sweetland, Council Member Tharp voting AYE, and (None) voting NAY; Absent: 1. Council Member Alston seconded the motion. With Council Member Alston, Council Member Carnes, Council Member Holt, Council Member Maurer, Council Member Sheehan, Council Member Sutherland, Council Member Sweetland, Council Member Tharp voting AYE, and (None) voting NAY; Absent: 1. THE MOTION Passed Council Member Maurer moved to approve the monetary sponsorship request from Trails Park and Recreation District for the Sunset on Summer in the amount of $7,500 and manner requested. Council Member Sheehan seconded the motion. With Council Member Alston, Council Member Carnes, Council Member Holt, Council Member Maurer, Council Member Sheehan, Council Member Sutherland, Council Member Sweetland, Council Member Tharp voting AYE, and (None) voting NAY; Absent: 1.
