MINUTES OF THE CENTENNIAL CITY COUNCIL Special Meeting 6:00 PM Monday, January 6, 2020 A Regular Meeting of the City Council was held on this date in the Council Chambers at 13133 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, Colorado. A full and timely notice of this meeting had been posted and a quorum was present. 1 Call to Order Mayor Piko called the meeting to order at 6:04 PM. 2 Roll Call Those present were: Mayor Piko Council Member Moon Council Member Turley Council Member Penaloza Council Member Maurer Council Member Lucas Council Member Sutherland Council Member Alston Council Member Weidmann Council Member Elect Sweetland Council Member Elect Holt Council Member Elect Sheehan Those absent were: None Also present were: Matthew Sturgeon, City Manager Bob Widner, City Attorney Chris Michlewicz, Communications Coordinator Judge Louis Gresh, Municipal Judge Barbara Setterlind, City Clerk Ebony Vivens, Deputy City Clerk 3 Recognition of Outgoing Council Members; 6:13 PM Mayor Piko recognized outgoing Council Members Penaloza, Lucas and Weidmann 4 Swearing in of New Council Members; 6:22 PM Judge Gresh, conducted the swearing in of new 2020 Council Members Moon, Sweetland, Holt and Sheehan. Minutes – Special Meeting 1/6/2020 6:00:00 PM Page 2 5 Adjourn There being no further business to discuss, the Study Session was adjourned at 6:50 PM.
