MINUTES OF THE CENTENNIAL CITY COUNCIL Study Session 6:00 PM Monday, April 12, 2010 A Study Session of the City Council was held on this date in the City Council Chambers at 13133 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, Colorado. A full and timely notice of this meeting had been posted and a quorum was present. A. Call to Order Mayor Noon called the Study Session meeting to order at 6:00 PM. B. Roll Call Those present were: Mayor Noon Council Member Phelps, via telephone Council Member Dindinger Council Member Gardner Council Member Bosier Council Member McClellan Council Member Anderson Council Member Miller Council Member Weidmann Those absent were: None Also present were: Jacque Wedding-Scott, City Manager Bob Widner, City Attorney Dave Zelenok, Director of Public Works Richard Lewis, Public Works Manager Craig Faessler, City Traffic Engineer Wayne Reed, Director of Planning & Development Edward Stafford, City Engineer Veronica Mata, Youth Commissioner Don Wright, Support Services Manager Brenda Madison, City Clerk Barbara Setterlind, Deputy City Clerk C. Parker Road Corridor Study - Briefing/Discussion; 6:02 PM Dave Zelenok, Director of Public Works, and Craig Faessler, City Traffic Engineer, presented. CDOT/Arapahoe Road Traffic Signals - Briefing/Discussion; 6:26 PM Craig Faessler, City Traffic Engineer, introduced Steve Hersey, Region VI Traffic Engineer with Colorado Department of Transportation. Mr. Hersey presented. The meeting was recessed at 7:03 PM and reconvened at 7:18 PM. E. Transportation Master Plan Chartering Session Joint Meeting with Planning & Zoning Commission; 7:18 PM Wayne Reed, Director of Planning and Development made a brief opening statement. Edward Stafford, City Engineer, presented. Dave Hatton, Jenny Young, and Marjorie Alexander, representatives from Felsburg, Holt & Ullevig, gave a presentation and answered questions from Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission. The meeting was recessed at 8:57 PM and reconvened at 9:10 PM. F. Council Review of Options Regarding Vacancy and Appointment of District 1 Council Seat; 9:10 PM Mayor Noon opened the discussion. Comments and opinions were heard from all Council members. G. Adjourn There being no further business to discuss, the Study Session was adjourned at 9:58 PM.
