MINUTES OF THE CENTENNIAL CITY COUNCIL Study Session 6:00 PM Monday, December 02, 2013 A Study Session of the City Council was held on this date in the City Council Chambers at 13133 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, Colorado. A full and timely notice of this meeting had been posted and a quorum was present. A. Call to Order Mayor Noon called the meeting to order at 6:06 PM. B. Roll Call Those present were: Council Member Dindinger Council Member Gardner Council Member Bosier Council Member McClellan Council Member Weidmann Council Member Moon Council Member Piko Council Member Lucas Mayor Noon Those absent were: None Also present were: John Danielson, City Manager Bob Widner, City Attorney Wayne Reed, Deputy City Manager Elisha Thomas, Assistant City Manager Dawn Priday, Director of Finance Andy Firestine, Deputy Director of Community Development Jeff Brasel, Deputy Director of Community Development Heather Vidlock, Principal Planner Corri Spiegel, Economic Development Manager Laura Hoeppner, Government Affairs Liaison Brenda Madison, City Clerk Barbara Setterlind, Deputy City Clerk C. Economic Development Partner Organization Updates; 5:51 PM Corri Spiegel, Economic Development Manager, made brief introductions. Presentations were made by: Kevin Hougen, Aurora Chamber of Commerce; Jeff Holwell, South Metro Chamber of Commerce; Marsha McGilley, South Metro Denver SBDC and Aurora SBDC; Mike Fitzgerald Denver South Economic Development; and Steve Klausing, TMA. Minutes – Study Session December 02, 2013 Page 2 The meeting was recessed at 7:10 PM for the Regular Meeting, and reconvened at 8:08 PM. D. Potomac Park Master Plan and Request for Interest Update; 8:08 PM Jeff Brasel, Deputy Director of Community Development, and Heather Vidlock, Principal Planner, presented. Nicole Horst, representing Wenk, was present. E. Review of Administrative Directive Permitting Private Improvements to be Located within the Public Right-of-way through a Revocable License Agreement; 8:31 PM Andy Firestine, Deputy Director of Community Development, presented. Council continued the discussion regarding the Economic Development Partner Organization updates. F. Adjourn There being no further business to discuss, the Study Session was adjourned at 9:03 PM.
