MINUTES OF THE CENTENNIAL CITY COUNCIL Study Session 6:00 PM Monday, October 20, 2014 A Study Session of the City Council was held on this date in the City Council Chambers at 13133 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, Colorado. A full and timely notice of this meeting had been posted and a quorum was present. A. Call to Order Mayor Noon called the meeting to order at 6:04 PM. B. Roll Call Those present were: Mayor Noon Council Member Turley Council Member Gardner Council Member Moon Council Member Piko Council Member Truhlar Council Member Gotto Council Member Whelan Those absent were: Council Member Lucas, excused Also present were: John Danielson, City Manager Bob Widner, City Attorney Wayne Reed, Deputy City Manager Elisha Thomas, Assistant City Manager Eric Eddy, Assistant to the City Manager Travis Greiman, Engineering Manager Angela Engel, Commissions Coordinator Ebony Brewington, Deputy City Clerk Barbara Setterlind, City Clerk C. Recommending Amendments to Chapter 10, Article 11 of the Centennial Municipal Code to Include Vaporizers and E-Cigarettes; 6:05 PM Youth Commissioner Connor Piko made a brief report. Youth Commissioner Clare Girardeau presented. D. Proposed Amendment to City of Centennial/Park Jordan Metro District IGA; 6:09 PM Travis Greiman, Engineering Manager, presented. Wayne Reed, Deputy City Manager, answered questions from Council. Consensus was to not go forward with amendments as proposed. Minutes – Study Session October 20, 2014 Page 2 Reports were moved from the Regular Meeting Agenda. E. Reports; 6:30 PM a. City Manager John Danielson, City Manager, made a brief report. b. City Attorney (None) c. City Clerk (None) d. Council Members Council Members Whelan, Piko, Gotto, Gardner, Truhlar, Moon and Turley made brief reports. F. Mayor's Report and Comments; 6:35 PM Mayor Noon made a brief report. G. Adjourn There being no further business to discuss, the Study Session was adjourned at 6:38 PM.
