MINUTES OF THE CENTENNIAL CITY COUNCIL Study Session 6:00 PM Monday, May 20, 2019 A Study Session of the City Council was held on this date in the Council Chambers at 13133 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, Colorado. A full and timely notice of this meeting had been posted and a quorum was present. 1 Call to Order Mayor Piko called the meeting to order at 6:03 PM. 2 Roll Call Those present were: Mayor Piko Council Member Moon (via phone) Council Member Turley Council Member Penaloza Council Member Maurer Council Member Sutherland Council Member Alston Council Member Weidmann Council Member Lucas Those absent were: None Also present were: Elisha Thomas, Deputy City Manager Andrew Firestine, Assistant City Manager Bob Widner, City Attorney Maureen Juran, Deputy City Attorney Eric Eddy, Director of Strategic Initiatives Allison Wittern, Director of Communications Neil Marciniak, Economic Development Manager Barbara Setterlind, City Clerk Christina Cooney, Assistant City Clerk 3 Senior and Youth Commission Reports; 6:05 PM Susan Pye, Chair of the Senior Commission, presented. Delwin Maben, Chair of the Youth Commission, presented. 4 E-Cigarettes: What is the Problem and What are Communities Doing About It? 6:47 PM Minutes – Study Session 5/20/2019 6:00:00 PM Page 2 Tracy Doyle, Bob Doyle and Amy Winterfeld presented on the impacts of e-cigarettes on communities. Matt Jackson, Tri-County Health, made a brief introduction and offered himself to council. 5 Adjourn There being no further business to discuss, the Study Session was adjourned at 7:35 PM.
