MINUTES OF THE CENTENNIAL CITY COUNCIL Study Session 6:00 PM Monday, November 4, 2019 A Study Session of the City Council was held on this date in the Council Chambers at 13133 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, Colorado. A full and timely notice of this meeting had been posted and a quorum was present. 1 Call to Order Mayor Piko called the meeting to order at 6:03 PM. 2 Roll Call Those present were: Mayor Piko Council Member Moon Council Member Turley Council Member Penaloza Council Member Maurer Council Member Lucas Council Member Sutherland Council Member Alston Council Member Weidmann Those absent were: None Also present were: Matthew Sturgeon, City Manager Bob Widner, City Attorney Eric Eddy, Director of Strategic Initiatives Allison Wittern, Director of Communications Candice Griffin, Community Liaison Neil Marciniak, Economic Development Manager Steve Greer, Director of Community Development Barbara Setterlind, City Clerk Christina Cooney, Assistant City Clerk 3 PROCLAMATION 2019-P-09 A PROCLAMATION OF THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF CENTENNIAL, COLORADO PROCLAIMING THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER, 2019, AND IN PERPETUITY, AS “PANCREATIC CANCER AWARENESS MONTH” IN THE CITY OF CENTENNIAL Mayor Piko presented a proclamation to former Mayor Cathy Noon proclaiming November “Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month”. 4 Youth and Senior Commission Reports Aimee Resnick, Chair of the Youth Commission, gave a brief report; 6:14 PM. Minutes – Study Session 11/4/2019 6:00:00 PM Page 2 John Dietch, Chair of the Senior Commission, gave a brief report; 6:23 PM. 5 Celebrity Center New Incentive Agreement This item was moved to the Regular Council Meeting. 6 Land Development Code-Proposed Amendments to Spacing Restrictions for Certain Land Uses Neil Marciniak, Economic Development Manager, presented; 6:49 PM. 7 Adjourn There being no further business to discuss, the Study Session was adjourned at 6:57 PM.
