MINUTES OF THE CENTENNIAL CITY COUNCIL Study Session 6:00 PM Tuesday, January 9, 2024 A Study Session of the City Council was held on this date in the Council Chambers at 13133 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, Colorado. A full and timely notice of this meeting had been posted and a quorum was present. 1 Call to Order Mayor Piko called the meeting to order at 6:07 PM. 2 Roll Call Those present were: Mayor Piko Council Member Tharp Council Member Carnes Council Member Sweetland Council Member Maurer Council Member Sutherland Council Member Holt Council Member Alston Council Member Sheehan Those absent were: None Also present were: Matt Sturgeon, City Manager Elisha Thomas, Deputy City Manager Bob Widner, City Attorney Eric Eddy, Assistant City Manager Melanie Ward, Development Foresight and Infrastructure Readiness Jenny Houlne, Deputy Community and Economic Development Director David King, Planner II Christina Lovelace, Interim City Clerk Summer Greenwood, Records Management Specialist 3 Land Banking Discussion; 6:09 PM Melanie Ward, Manager of Development Foresight and Jenny Houlne, Deputy Director of Community and Economic Development, presented. Consensus was to move forward with the discussion and research. 4 Reports Moved from the Regular Meeting Agenda; 6:40 PM Minutes – Study Session 1/9/2024 6:00:00 PM Page 2 Council Tharp, Carnes, Sweetland, Maurer, Sutherland, Holt, Alston and Sheehan gave a report. Mayor Piko gave a brief report. 5 Adjourn There being no further business to discuss, the Study Session was adjourned at 7:01 PM.
