MINUTES OF THE CENTENNIAL CITY COUNCIL Study Session 6:00 PM Tuesday, August 5, 2025 A Study Session of the City Council was held on this date in the Council Chambers at 13133 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, Colorado. A full and timely notice of this meeting had been posted and a quorum was present. 1 Call to Order Mayor Piko called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM. 2 Roll Call Those present were: Mayor Piko Council Member Tharp Council Member Maurer Council Member Sweetland Council Member Holt Council Member Alston Council Member Sheehan Those absent were: Council Member Carnes, Excused Council Member Sutherland, Excused Also present were: Matt Sturgeon, City Manager Elisha Thomas, Deputy City Manager Christopher Price, City Attorney Wyatt Peterson, Senior Strategic Advisor Melanie Ward, Manager of Development, Foresight, and Infrastructure Readiness Christina Lovelace, City Clerk Allie Esch, Deputy City Clerk 2 Roll Call 3 South Metro Waste Diversion Plan; 6:01 PM Melanie Ward, Manager of Development, Foresight, and Infrastructure Readiness, Wyatt Peterson, Senior Strategic Advisor, Helen Lee, a representative of Resource Recycling Systems, and Audrey Wheeler, a representative of Eco-Cycle, presented.
