Consider and act on changes to the existing contract with Rick Ford for CSA Coordination through December 31, 2016, and providing staff direction on the creation of a Recreation Coordinator position within the city staff structure beginning January 1, 2017. Z Motion was made to amend the contract with the CSA Coordinator, Rick Ford that expires December 31, 2016. The contract will be amended to increase the salary to $4,000.00 per month with the stipulation that he must hire an assistant to work with him and submit proof of hiring the assistant.  Council will schedule a workshop some time in mid-November to include Council, Parks Board, Rick Ford and Kim Fleming to discuss changes for the 2017 CSA program including continuing with the third party contract or bringing the position in-house.
