Announcements Introduction of Applicants Two applicants to fill vacancies introduced themselves, Thomas Henkel and Forest Heath IIII. Petitions received and filed 1. Council Petition - Blue Hill Form District [TMP-0583] received and filed Approval of Minutes Page 1 of 3 Community Design Commission Action Minutes April 24, 2018 Approve the minutes as submitted. 2. March 27, 2018 Draft Minutes [TMP-0578] Minutes were approved as submitted. Old Business Concept Plan Reviews 3. 2200 Homestead Affordable Housing Concept Plan [TMP-0577] The Commission provided comments to the applicant including a preference for Option 1 and the mixed incomes, housing options, greenway connections, and encouragement of "tiny homes." Recommendation to Council 4. Application for Special Use Permit - Eastowne Redevelopment - [TMP-0617] MOB 1 (Project #18-028) Tabled to next meeting. Table the item to their next meeting. Final Plans 5. SECU Family House Building Elevations and Site Lighting [TMP-0582] Approve the Building Elevations and Site Lighting as submitted. Blue Hill Form District, Certificates of Appropriateness No applications for review. A site visit to Tru Hotel site planned. Volker Mueller provided an update to the Design Award. 6. Applications for Vacancies [TMP-0605] The Commission voted 5-0 to reappoint both Chris Berndt and Volker Mueller and voted 3-0 to appoint both Thomas Henkel and Forest Heath. The Historic District seat was left open. Announcement of Vote by Chair Public Charge: The Advisory Body pledges its respect to the public. The Body asks the public to conduct themselves in a respectful, courteous manner, both with the Body and with fellow members of the public. Should any member of the Body or any member of the public fail to observe this charge at any time, the Chair will ask the offending person to leave the meeting until that individual regains personal control. Should decorum fail to be restored, the Chair will recess the meeting until a genuine commitment to this public charge is observed.
