Page 1 of 2 Town Council Meeting Minutes - Final June 28, 2024 OPENING Mayor Jessica Anderson called the meeting to order at 3:54 p.m. ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Mayor Jessica Anderson, Mayor pro tem Amy Ryan, Council Member Camille Berry, Council Member Adam Searing, and Council Member Melissa McCullough Absent: 4 - Council Member Paris Miller-Foushee, Council Member Karen Stegman, Council Member Theodore Nollert, and Council Member Elizabeth Sharp OTHER ATTENDEES Town Manager Chris Blue, Deputy Town Manager Mary Jane Nirdlinger, Deputy Town Manager Loryn Clark, Town Attorney Ann Anderson, Executive Director for Strategic Communications Susan Brown, Business Management Director Amy Oland, and Deputy Town Clerk Amy Harvey. DISCUSSION 1. Approve Project Ordinance Amendment to Recognize Limited [24-0402] Obligation Financing Proceeds. Business Management Director Amy Oland shared that on June 18th, the day after the Council last met, staff closed on the Limited Obligation borrowing. This was for the Rosemary Street parking deck, fire truck purchase, police station upfit, and related financing, she said. These funds are needed to continue work during the summer. Ms. Oland asked the Council to approve a budget ordinance amendment that recognizes the financing proceeds. A motion was made by Council Member Berry, seconded by Mayor pro tem Ryan, that the Council enacted O-1. The motion carried by a unanimous vote. ADJOURNMENT The meeting was adjourned at 3:56 p.m. Page 2 of 2
