Cheraw Board of Zoning Appeals Minutes Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 5:00 pm 1. Call to Order Minutes: Members present: John Sanderson, Keith Stubbs, Jay Leach and David Morgan Others Present: Sophia Tuner (Pee Dee Council of Governments), Madison Scott and Patti Norris John called the meeting to order at 5:30pm. Public Hearing 2. New Business Minutes: Dave made a motion to enter into public hearing. Jay seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously. Entered into public hearing at 5:05pm. Sophia stated that 337 Chesterfield Hwy is asking for special exception to be able to sale pre-built storage buildings, in addition to its current use as an auto dealership. Keith made a motion to approve the request with special instructions (see attached). John seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously. Dave made a motion to exit public hearing. Keith seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously. Exited public hearing at 5:19pm. 3. Adjourn Minutes: John made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
