CIBH MINUTES 03-13-2023 PAGE 2 OF 3 REGULAR AGENDA A. CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT UPDATES 1) Renovation of 216 Great Bridge Boulevard, the future site of the Crisis Receiving Center Heron’s Cove, continues. The goal is to be operational by July 1, 2023. 2) Plans are being made to move the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program to 840 Greenbrier Circle. Once the move is complete, the Community Options Program will be relocated to 1013 Great Bridge Boulevard. B. DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AWARENESS MONTH 2023 Mayor Rick West issued a Proclamation in recognition of March as Developmental Disa- bilities Awareness Month. C. CHESAPEAKE PUBLIC SCHOOLS JOB SHADOWING DAY On February 28, 2023, CIBH participated in a job shadowing day with Chesapeake Pub- lic Schools. Three students representing different high schools (Hickory, Indian River & Oscar Smith) spent the day on-site learning about mental health and substance use ser- vices and how CIBH serves the local community. FINANCIAL REPORT The Board reviewed the financial report which contained data through January 2023.
