INTRODUCTION OF NEW BOARD MEMBER Introductions were made to new board member Mr. A. Keith Chapman. CONSENT AGENDA A. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA B. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 12-11-2023 Meeting CIBH MINUTES 01-08-2024 PAGE 1 OF 2 Jennifer Stafford made a motion to approve the Consent Agenda as presented. Justin Fernheimer seconded. The motion passed. PUBLIC COMMENT None. 2024 COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS The following committee assignments were made: Admin and Finance Community and Programs and Services Gov. Relations Justin Fernheimer Mark Davis Ayisha Buggs Terri McManus Tracy Spurlin-Saravanan Keith Chapman A description of the committee duties will be emailed to the Board. Board members will let Dr. Cuffie know their preferences. REGULAR AGENDA A. CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS • 840 Greenbrier Circle Renovations to the leased space that will house most of the Care Coordination pro- grams is almost complete with office furniture expected to arrive the first week of January. • The Chesapeake CARES Crisis Operation Center is almost complete. Michelle Bradstock, Mental Health-Substance Use Programs Director, provided an update on staff recruitment activities. The goal is for the Center to initially be open Monday- Friday and to increase hours of operation as positions are filled. B. VACSB ADVOCACY MESSAGE The January advocacy relates to the VACSB budget priorities. FINANCIAL REPORT Lisa Vanlandingham reviewed the financial report which contains data through November 30, 2023.
