PERVISOR AND RAVEN PITTMAN, SENIOR CLINICIAN
Highlands Place East and West are five-bed intermediate care facilities (ICF) for adults with an
intellectual disability. The ICF provides services to integrate residents into to community while
providing care in a home-like setting. Each resident has an individualized service plan created
based on their individual treatment goals. Residents generally don’t require significant medical
intervention or specialized care. The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Ser-
vices manages a waiting list for placement in an ICF.
