CIBH MINUTES 05-13-2024 PAGE 1 OF 2 CONSENT AGENDA A. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA B. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 04-08-2024 Meeting Jennifer Stafford made a motion to approve the Consent Agenda as presented. Robert Rabuse. seconded. The motion passed. PUBLIC COMMENT There was no public comment. REGULAR AGENDA A. Chesapeake Cares Crisis Center The ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for Thursday May 30 at 10:00 a.m. If unable to at- tend the ribbon cutting, there will also be an open house June 3 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. B. Opioid Abatement Authority Ed Gonzalez prepared a proposal for the City Manager on the use of funds received through the Opioid Settlement agreement. We intend to use the funds for: • Emergency housing assistance • The establishment of recovery homes • Evidence-based training for staff C. Director of Care Coordination Programs Jaylene Trueblood has joined the CIBH Leadership Team as the Director of Care Coordina- tion Program effective May 7, 2024. FINANCIAL REPORT Paul Marone reviewed the financial report which contains data through March 31, 2024.
