CONSENT AGENDA A. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA B. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 06-10-2024 Meeting Jennifer Stafford made a motion to approve the Consent Agenda as presented. Robert Rabuse seconded. The motion passed. CIBH MINUTES 07-08-2024 PAGE 1 OF 3 PUBLIC COMMENT Susan Razo addressed the Board to relay a recent experience with CIBH Psychiatric Services staff. REGULAR AGENDA A. REVISION TO THE SCHEDULE OF CHARGES The Department of Medical Assistance Services notified us of reimbursement rate increases. CIBH wishes to revise our schedule of charges to reflect the new rates. Rate increases for be- havioral health services went into effect January 1, 2024. Rate increases for developmental disability waiver services went into effect July 1, 2024. Robert Rabuse made a motion to revise the CIBH schedule of charges as presented. Jennifer Stafford seconded. The motion passed. B. CRISIS RECEIVING CENTER The Heron’s Cove Crisis Receiving Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Since July 2, care has been provided to 18 individuals. C. MOBILE CRISIS UNIT PILOT On June 17, CIBH partnered with the Chesapeake Police Department to pilot a mobile co- response program. It is a ride along program pairing a Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) trained police officer with an Emergency Services Clinician, and occasionally a Peer Recovery Spe- cialist. To date, the mobile response team has served 42 individuals in the community. Of the 42 in- dividuals served, 12 were hospitalized. The remaining individuals were supported in the community and did not require a higher level of care. The pilot continues through August 9. FINANCIAL REPORT Paul Marone reviewed the financial report which contains data through May 31, 2024. PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS A. 988 HOTLINE The Prevention Team spearheaded a project to raise awareness of the new 988 crisis number. Fifty (50) signs will be mounted to light poles in city- owned parking lots throughout Chesapeake.
