The present balance of this account is $134,282.02. Motion was made, seconded, and carried unanimously to accept the Clerk’s report as presented. Old Business: Clerk informed members of the Board that she is in contact with the IT Dept. regarding purchasing new multifunctional copier/printer/fax/scanner. Members of the Board suggested to look into leasing this equipment as a possible alternative. New Business: -Motion was made, seconded and unanimously approved that Nomination Papers be certified as presented by the Clerk. - Motion was made, seconded and carried to request the continuation of the Passport Revolving Fund for the purpose of processing and mailing passport applications - Members of the Board were in agreement to seek a proposal for printing of 50 Street List Books and to include Wards’ boundaries in dividing List into Wards and Precincts. - Motion was made, seconded and carried unanimously to conduct special registration session at National Night Against Crime and at Chicopee Farmers Market as time permits based on the operational needs of the Department. Good of the Department: Clerk of the Board stated that the issue had arisen with a Census Taker being attacked by a dog and that this Census Taker considers it to be a minor incident. Nonetheless he was advised to report it to our Police Department but he refused to seek medical assistance. Members of the Board decided to look into purchasing pepper spray for the next year census.
