C, There was a fire at the Old Senior Center at 7 Valley View Court which we use for the Ward 8A polliffg'place.:.We had included that location in the November 5th Call to Election approved by the City Council. Due to the fire, we vlill not be able to use this location for the November 5th election. We are asking for a new Call to Election to be approved using the Anna Barry School as the polling location for both Ward 8A and B, as required by state law. The Ward Councilor, Gary Labrie and the City Clerk have indicated this is acceptable and have asked for a timely meeting to approve the new call to election so that we may notify the registered voters of Ward 8A of the change in pollirig locations for this election. We appreciate your action to ensure the election change for Ward 8A is processed a·nd individuals notified in a timely manner. This will be the only item on the agenda for the Special Meeting.
