CHICOPEE CITY COUNCIL HUMAN RESOURCE C OMMITTEE APPROVED 3-24-2014 MEMBERS James Tillotson Gary Labrie Gerry Roy Timothy McLellan William Zaskey MINUTES March 10, 2014 The following are the minutes of a public hearing held Monday, March 10, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, Fourth Floor, City Hall Annex, 274 Front Street, 4th floor, Chicopee, MA 01013 Present: Tillotson, Labrie, Roy, McLellan, Zaskey Also Present: Councilor Laflamme, Scott Szczebak (Human Resource Director), Daniel Garvey (Associate City Solicitor) Meeting called to order at 6:30 PM Item #1: Motion made by Councilor Labrie and second by Councilor Zaskey to go into executive session to interview candidates of the position of City Messenger. Interviewing candidates in open session would be detrimental to the committee’s ability to attract qualified candidates for the position. The meeting will reconvene to end in open session. Motion passed by a roll call vote of 5 in favor of going into executive session. Meeting reconvened in regular session at 8:33 PM. Motion made to adjourn at 8:35 PM. 1
