CHICOPEE CITY COUNCIL HUMAN RESOURCE C OMMITTEE APPROVED 3-31-2015 MEMBERS James Tillotson Gary Labrie Gerry Roy Timothy McLellan William Zaskey MINUTES February 23, 2015 The following are the minutes of a public hearing held Monday, February 23, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, Fourth Floor, City Hall Annex, 274 Front Street, 4th floor, Chicopee, MA 01013 Present: Tillotson, Zaskey, McLellan Absent: Labrie, Roy Also Present: Councilor Zygarowski, Councilor Laflamme, Councilor Lamontagne, Daniel Garvey (Associate City Solicitor) Councilor Krampits Meeting called to order at 6:30 PM In compliance with the Open Meeting Law the Chairman asked if anyone in the audience was recording the meeting. ITEM #1 Committee interviewed the following applicants for the position of Board of Health commissioner; Maureen Lapierre – L.P.N. Linda Desmarais – Physical Therapist Theresa Picard – Registered Nurse Councilor Zaskey motion to move forward with the recommendation of Theresa Picard – Councilor McLellan 2nd the motion - motion passed The Committee recommended Theresa Picard for the Board of Health Commissioner. Committee vote 3 – 0 favorable Meeting adjourned at 7:03 PM. 1
