City of Chicopee City Council Human Resources Committee Approved 12-12-2017 Members James Tillotson Gary Labrie Stan Walczak Timothy McLellan William Zaskey MINUTES September 12, 2017 The following are the minutes of a public hearing held Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 6:30 PM in the City Council Chambers, Fourth Floor, City Hall Annex, 274 Front Street, Chicopee, MA 01013. Members Present Tillotson, Labrie, Zaskey Members Absent Walczak, McLellan Also Present Dan Garvey (Associate City Solicitor), Councilor Laflamme, Councilor Krampits, Councilor Zygarowski, Councilor Courchesne. The meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM In compliance with the Open Meeting Law the Chairman asked if anyone in the audience was recording the meeting. Hearing none the meeting continued. ITEM #1 Mayoral appointment of Kathleen LaBreck as a member of the Council on Aging to serve in such office for the term expiring on the 1st day of June, 2020. Ms. LaBreck was present at the meeting. She stated that she is now retired and would like to give back to the community. Motion made by Councilor Zaskey and second by Councilor Labrie to approve. Committee vote 3 – 0 favorable. ITEM #2 Minutes – July 18, 2017 Motion made by Councilor Zaskey and second by Councilor Tillotson to approve. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 6:34 PM. 1
