Zygarowski Shane Brooks MINUTES April 30, 2014 The following are the minutes of a public hearing held Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 6:15 PM in the City Council Chambers, Fourth Floor, City Hall Annex, 274 Front Street, Chicopee, MA 01013. Members Present Roy, Laflamme, Zygarowski, Brooks Absent Krampits Also Present Kate Brown (Planning Director), Dan Garvey (Associate City Solicitor), Captain Mark Galarneau (Fire Department) The meeting was called to order at 6:15 PM. In compliance with the open meeting laws the Chairman asked if anyone in the audience was recording the meeting. ITEM #1 Application for a change of a Service Station License at 169-171 Chicopee Street to add a building addition and associated parking. Applicant Pride Convenience 246 Cottage Street Springfield, MA Applicant was not present. 1 Fire Department The Fire Department has reviewed the “plot plan” as most recently submitted and has no objections. We have yet to receive “stamped” construction plans for the store floor plan and addition and will review such when they are submitted. Meadow Street - Handicap Parking – Remove S.W. corner area to have curb no rumble strip as seen on our plan with Engineering for what they have inspected. Laflamme motion to table until the next License Committee Meeting on Monday, May 5, 2014 – motion passed ITEM #2 Minutes – March 13, 2014. Zygarowski motion to accept – Laflamme 2nd the motion. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 6:50 PM. 2
