Members Present Krampits, Pniak-Costello- Dobosz, Balakier Not Present Brooks Also Present Daniel Garvey (Associate City Solicitor), Councilor Laflamme, Councilor Labrie, Councilor Zygarowski, The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM In compliance with the Open Meeting Law the Chairman asked if anyone in the audience was recording the meeting. Hearing none the meeting continued. The following meeting was not recorded on zoom and the small device failed. Item #1 Application for an Auto Repair License for Wicked Cycles Inc., Located at 576 East Street. Applicant: Scott Machado 1235 East Street Ludlow, MA 01056 Applicant was present he stated that he will abide by all of the requirements and restrictions that the City Council has asked. Good housekeeping No outside storage No junk cars No outside repairs 1 License holder must secure a Certificate of Occupancy prior to exercising the rights granted under this license Total number of vehicles 23 cycles Inside 23 Outside 8 Employee 3 Customer 5 cycles 8 parking spaces = 5 in front (including 1 HP) No more than 20 max inside (repair) 3 for sale. Also East Springfield neighborhood council request. Flammable liquid storage. Read as a communication. From: Kathleen Brown This property does abut residental and a small portion is actually located in Springfield. The East Springfield Neighborhood Council and Ward Representative Mike Fenton were notified by residents of issues with previous uses at this site. Mike and I request that you, the sub-committee and your City Council include some neighborhood safeguards. The sales and repairs shall be limited to cycles only. All repairs shall take place inside of the building. No outside storage of cycles, parts or equipment. Install and maintain an 8ft vinyl fence along rear and side that abuts residential. No spray painting inside or outside. No banners, promo flags or similar items on the site. Hours of operation should be determined 8-6? (we need to insure that noise will not impact residental use) The site will be maintained and kept free of litter and debris. The site plan should be attached to the license.
