Members Present: Tillotson, Krampits, Laflamme, Roy Members Absent: McLellan Also Present: Dan Garvey (Asst. City Solicitor), Councilor Brunetti, Councilor Courchesne, Councilor Zygarowski, Councilor Labrie The meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM. In compliance with the open meeting laws the Chairman asked if anyone in the audience was recording the meeting. Hearing none the meeting continued. ITEM #1 Striking From – Montgomery Street – West side from Chicopee Comp High School driveway southerly 300 feet – PARKING PROHIBITED Councilor Brunetti stated that the ordinance should be amended to read “northerly”. Motion made by Councilor Laflamme and second by Councilor Krampits to approve. Committee vote 4 – 0 favorable. ITEM #2 Striking From – Montgomery Street – East side from Parenteau Drive southerly 360 feet – PARKING PROHIBITED Councilor Brunetti stated that the ordinance should be amended to read “northerly” Motion made by Councilor Roy and second by Councilor Krampits to approve. Committee vote 4 – 0 favorable. ITEM #3 Montgomery Street – West side from fire hydrant in a northerly direction beyond house #693 driveway – PARKING PROHIBITED BETWEEN SIGNS 1 Motion made by Councilor Krampits and second by Councilor Roy to approve. Committee vote 4 -0 favorable. ITEM #4 Montgomery Street – East side 120 feet north of Parenteau Drive to driveway at 664 Montgomery Street – PARKING PROHIBITED HERE TO CORNER Motion made by Councilor Roy and second by Councilor Krampits to approve. Committee vote 4 – 0 favorable. ITEM #5 Washington Street – South side – 25 feet from the intersection of Madison Street – PARKING PROHIBITED HERE TO CORNER Motion made by Councilor Roy and second by Councilor Krampits to approve. Committee vote 4 – 0 favorable. ITEM #6 Hampden Street – Between pole #40 and pole #39 – PARKING PROHIBITED BETWEEN SIGNS Motion made by Councilor Laflamme and second by Councilor Roy to approve. Committee vote 4 -0 favorable. ITEM #7 Pendleton Avenue – Intersection of Prospect Street and Pendleton Avenue – ISOLATED STOP SIGN Motion made by Councilor Roy and second by Councilor Krampits to approve. Committee vote 4 – 0 favorable. ITEM #8 Chicopee Street – South side in the area of 582 Chicopee Street – 25 feet to the corner of Ferry and Chicopee Street – PARKING PROHIBITED HERE TO CORNER Motion made by Councilor Laflamme and second by Councilor Roy to approve. Committee vote 4 – 0 favorable. ITEM #9 Minutes – October 10, 2017 Motion made by Councilor Laflamme to approve. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 6:44 PM. 2
