Zygarowski MINUTES August 28, 2018 The following are the minutes of a public hearing held Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 6:15 PM in the City Council Chambers, Fourth Floor, City Hall Annex, 274 Front Street, Chicopee, MA 01013. Members Present Labrie, Courchesne, Brooks, Zygarowski Members Absent McAuliffe Also Present Dan Garvey (Associate City Solicitor), Elizabette Botelho (City Engineer), Councilor Laflamme, The meeting was called to order at 6:16 PM In compliance with the Open Meeting Law the Chairman asked if anyone in the audience was recording the meeting. Hearing none the meeting continued. ITEM #1 Petition from Columbia Gas of Massachusetts to be granted a location and permission to replace and maintain 650’ of 2” MP plastic gas main on Spring Street with such laterals and service connections as it may now or subsequently find necessary. The representative from Columbia Gas stated that the work will be done in the road and will stop at Front Street. Motion made by Councilor Zygarowski and second by Councilor Courchesne to approve the petition subject to Engineering and DPW requirements. Committee vote 4 – 0 favorable. ITEM #2 Minutes – May 8, 2018 & July 24, 2018 (Joint Ordinance & Utilities Committee) Motion made by Councilor Zygarowski and second by Councilor Courchesne to approve both sets of minutes. Motion passed. 1 Meeting adjourned at 6:19 PM. 2
