Members Present Vieau, Brooks, Tillotson, Laflamme, Krampits, Roy, McLellan Also Present Daniel Garvey (Associate City Solicitor) Kate Brown (Planning Director) Councilor Zygarowski Meeting called to order at 6:30 PM In compliance with the Open Meeting Law the Chairman asked if anyone in the audience was recording the meeting. ITEM #1 Application for Zone Change from Residential; A/C to Business A for 1.75 acres of property located at 65 Main Street for the purpose of future development. This will make the property uniform. Applicant William Stetson 65 Harris Street Granby, MA 01033 Applicant was present he stated that he purchased this property later this year and has cleaned it up. We want to make the property more uniform and more marketable. 1 Councilor Zygarowski asked do you own the property behind the building as well. William Stetson answered yes it’s like a trapezoid. Councilor Vieau stated that the Planning Department recommended approval compatible with the surrounding development in zoning. Laflamme motioned to approve – Vieau 2nd the motion – motion passed. Committee vote 7 – 0 favorable ITEM #2 Minutes – August 26, 2014. Motion made to approve. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 6:42 PM. 2
