Members Present Tillotson, Laflamme, Walczak, Balakier Members Absent: Brooks, Krampits, Roy Also Present: Dan Garvey (Asst. City Solicitor), Councilor Dobosz The meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM In compliance with the Open Meeting Law the Chairman asked if anyone in the audience was recording the meeting. Hearing none the meeting continued. ITEM #1 Special Permit application under 275-61 C (3) for the purpose of serving food and alcoholic beverages also entertainment located at 258 Exchange Street. Applicant Tyron Zaitshik 70 Burnside Terrace Springfield, MA 01118 Mr. Zaitshik and his attorney, Daniel Kelly, were present at the meeting. Councilor Tillotson stated that there is to be no adult entertainment unless he applies for a Special Permit for adult entertainment. Councilor Laflamme stated that he would like to include a restriction that the applicant abides by all requirements of the Health, Building and Fire Departments. 1 Restrictions: Permit to run with the applicant As defined in 275-61 (C) 51 – no adult uses Meet all Building, Fire, and Health requirements and regulations Motion made by Councilor Laflamme and second by Councilor Tillotson to approve with restrictions. Committee vote 4 – 0 favorable. ITEM #2 Minutes – April 26, 2018 Motion made by Councilor Laflamme to approve. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 6:37 PM. 2
