Chicopee Historical Commission Voting Record and Minutes The Historical Commission of the City of Chicopee public hearing for Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at 4:00 PM, in the Chambers Conference room, City Hall Annex and via Zoom. Meeting was brought to order at 4:05 PM by Linda Menard-Mruk, Vice-Chair of the Historical Commission. Blue Sky Towers is proposing to install a cellular monopole to improve cellular service in the North Willimansett area. The City Council granted a Special Permit on September 8, 2022. Notes: The 120-foot tower will be accessible off of Chicopee Street and is intended to provide greater cell phone service to the Willimansett area with ATT/Verizon users. The company noted that they had completed visibility (balloon) testing in May of 2022 to see where in the city the tower would be visible. Motion to approve and issue a letter of support was made by Timothy Wagner and seconded by Dave Robison.
