Minutes for May are presented to the Board. Commissioner Jez makes a motion to approve. Commissioner Goulette seconds. Motion approved 4-0. Falls Polish Home update- In attendance: Marian Zielinski. Mr. Zielinski informs the Board that the bar downstairs will be closing. There has been a significant downturn in business and it is not financially prudent to keep operating this space. The upstairs banquet facility will still be used. Chairman Pagel explains that as long as they are open for 1 day per year the license will not be in jeopardy. Mr. Zielinski asks if they can rent the bar out. Ms. Taillefer explains that they are allowed to do that only as long as it is a private party. A private party would consist of a guest list and receipts. It may not be advertised. Application for Transfer of Stock, Change of Officers/Directors /Stockholders for Castle of Knights, 1597 Memorial Dr. Commissioner Jez makes a motion to approve. Commissioner Goulette seconds. Motion approved 4-0 Application for a Transfer of Stock for JSAA (Contractor of Food/Beverages for Chicopee Municipal Golf Course), 1290 Burnett Rd Commissioner Jez makes a motion to approve. Commissioner Goulette seconds. Motion approved 4-0 Applications for a Weekday and Sunday Entertainment License for Dr. Deegan’s, 510 Burnett Rd Commissioner Jez makes a motion to approve. Commissioner Goulette seconds. Motion approved 4-0 Establishing a fee for Farmer Brewery Pouring Permit. Commissioner Goulette makes a motion to table this matter until more information is obtained. Commissioner St. George seconds. Motion approved 4-0 Filing fees are read by Commissioner Jez ABCC approvals- Bernie’s -Pledge of License Review of Police reports: Det. Dion submits reports for Rollin’ Roc, My Brothers Place and TD’s Sports Pub. Commissioner Jez makes a motion to hold hearings for Rollin’ Roc and TD’s Sports Pub. Commissioner St. George seconds. Motion approved 4-0 Correspondence: Commissioners are given an update on the Server Training Roster submissions. There are 2 establishments that have not submitted anything as of yet. They will be called in for a hearing in July.
