Chairman Martin and Commissioner Tarnowski were absent Public Input- None Minutes are presented to the Board. Commissioner Jez makes a motion to approve. Commissioner Pasternak seconds. Motion approved 3-0. Application for a Transfer of an All Alcohol Restaurant license for Milano’s Pizzeria and Restaurant Inc. to 340 Carew Street, Inc., 340 Carew St. Commissioner Jez makes a motion to table until the October meeting. Commissioner Pasternak seconds. Motion approved 3-0. Application for a Special One-Day Permit (Beer/Wine) for Aramark, 291 Springfield St for a Special Alumnae Event to be held on Saturday September 25, 2021 from 3:00 PM until 10:00 PM with Maria Lopes as applicant. Commissioner Jez makes a motion to approve. Commissioner Pasternak seconds. Motion approved 3-0. Application for a Special One-Day Permit (Beer/Wine) for Aramark, 291 Springfield St for a Special Alumnae Event to be held on Saturday October 2, 2021 from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM with Maria Lopes as applicant. Application for a Special One Day Permit( Beer/Wine) for a Chicopee Chamber After Hours Event to be held at Ondrick Natural Earth, 729 Fuller Rd on Thursday October 21, 2021 from 4:00 -8:00 PM with Samantha Savoie as applicant. Commissioner Jez makes a motion to approve. Commissioner Pasternak seconds. Motion approved 3-0. Application for a Special Event Permit for the Chicopee Chamber of Commerce, 48 Center St for the Chicopee Thriller 5 K Run / Walk Road Race to be held on Saturday October 30, 2021 from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM with Julie Copoulos as applicant (Race will start and end at Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St. Police details will be hired for the event. There will be some brief street closures during the race) Commissioner Jez makes a motion to approve. Commissioner Pasternak seconds. Motion approved 3-0. Application for a Common Victualer for Pizza Express 2, 557 East St (new owner) Commissioner Jez makes a motion to approve. Commissioner Pasternak seconds. Motion approved 3-0. Review of Filing fees for 2022. Commissioners discuss the current fees and if the fees should be adjusted at this time. They would like more information before making any changes. They would like to see what each category generates each year. Also when the last time the fees were adjusted and by how much. This information will be researched and another meeting will be scheduled. It does have some urgency as if there are any changes the renewal letters and applications need to be updated along with the billing system. The renewals are sent out at the end of October and are due by November 30th. Filing fees are read by Commissioner Pasternak Review of Police reports: Det. Dion informs the Board there is a report concerning the Dugout, 134 Meadow St. Commissioner Jez makes a motion to hold a hearing and to request the employment records, Tips roster and have the bouncer appear at the October meeting. Commissioner Pasternak seconds. Motion approved 3-0. Correspondence- K of C Elder Council is asking for a rain date extension by 1 week for the Wednesday car show. Commissioner Jez makes a motion to approve. Commissioner Pasternak seconds. Motion approved 3-0. Upcoming topics for next meeting-Renewals, applications, update.
