Atty. Kenefick is also present Public Input: none at this time Minutes are presented to the Board. Commissioner Hamblin makes a motion to approve. Commissioner Pasternak seconds. Motion approved 3-0. Application for a Special One Day Permit (Beer/Wine) for St. Stanislaus Basilica, 534 Front St for a Dinner and Comedy Show to be held on Saturday November 23, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 8:30 PM with Fr. B. Milunski as applicant. Commissioner Pasternak makes a motion to approve and waive the fee and the police requirement. Commissioner Hamblin seconds. Motion approved 3-0. Application for a Special One Day Permit (Beer/Wine) for Merecedes Benz of Springfield, 295 Burnett Rd for a Sip and Shop to be held on Monday December 9,2024 from 4:30 PM until 7:30 PM with Michelle Wirth as applicant. Commissioner Pasternak makes a motion to approve and waive police requirement. Commissioner Hamblin seconds. Motion approved 3-0. Application for a Special One Day Permit (Beer/Wine) for a Committee Appreciation Dinner held at Goodworks Coffeehouse, 46 Center St to be held on Tuesday November 26 ,2024 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with Chloe Soto as applicant. Commissioner Hamblin makes a motion to approve. Commissioner Pasternak seconds. Motion approved 3-0. Hearing for Bulls Eye Café has been postponed. Hearing for The Vibez,66 Cabot St has been postponed. Application for a Change of Officers/Directors for Tiger’s, 14 Sheridan St. Commissioner Pasternak makes a motion to approve. Commissioner Hamblin seconds. Commissioner Hamblin seconds. Motion approved 3-0. Filing fees are read by Commissioner Pasternak. Review of Police reports and discussion of compliance checks. Lt. Wegrzynek informs the Board that he has reviewed the video and complaint sent to him concerning an accident on Olea St. He has not been able to reach the View Street owners to see if they have video. Atty. Kenefick reminds the Board there is no indication that this individual came from the establishment. Review and update of Special Permit application. The Commissioners discuss the changes made to the application which include the following: application must be received 30 days prior to event, applicant must appear at the meeting, can request in writing the fee be waived by a non-profit with documentation of non-profit status. There is also a discussion on who and when police presence will be needed. It will be determined a on a case-by-case basis. If these changes do not work as intended, the application will be reviewed again. Commissioner Pasternak makes a motion to approve the new version. Commissioner Hamblin seconds. Motion approved 3-0.
