Meeting was brought to order by Roland Archambault at 6:31 PM. Item 1: VARIANCE (Tabled from September 13, October 11, November 8 and December 13, 2017) from Chapter 275-40 C (7)(a) to allow two-way traffic aisle width from 24’ to 22’. Location: South of and to the rear of 235 Meadow St. Assessor Map 473, Parcel 4A. Applicant: Chico’s Towing Service, Inc. 25 Bancroft St., Springfield, MA 01107 Notes: This petition was tabled once for a lack of quorum and remaining times at the request of the Applicant. The Applicant attempted to secure an easement with the owners of the adjacent Family Dollar store; however, this was not successful. The property in question (to the rear of Family Dollar) was originally subdivided from the current Family Dollar property however, the original owner (Mr. Robare) did not leave adequate width for a two way access drive for the rear property; therefore the 22’ was self- created and no hardship exists. The Board voted to deny the petition. Motion to approve for the sake of discussion was made by Roland Archambault and seconded by Christina Loy. Vote was 0 in favor to 4 opposed.
