MINUTES CICERO TOWN COUNCIL MEETING February 7, 2012, Town Hall 6:00 PM Cicero Town Hall, 70 N. Byron Street Call To Order: President Brett Foster called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance. President Foster gave prayer. President Foster called for the roll call and the members of the Town Council were present or absent as follows: Present: Brett Foster Absent: Jerry Cook Eric Hayden Kay Hartley Dennis Schrumpf President Foster declared a quorum present. Others Present: Jan Unger, Clerk Treasurer Dave Hildebrand Approval of Prior Minutes: Town Council Meeting Minutes, January 17, 2012, 6:00 PM – Mr. Schurmpf made a motion to approve the minutes of January 17, 2012. Mr. Hayden seconded, motion passed. Approval of Agenda: Mr. Foster added to the agenda approval to sign a revised letter from Duke. Mr. Hayden made a motion to approve the agenda as amended. Mr. Schrumpf seconded, motion passed. Approval of Claims: Mr. Hayden made a motion to approve the claims as presented. Mr. Schrumpf seconded, motion passed. Petitions by Citizens: There were none. President’s Report: Nothing. Council Committee Reports: Nothing. Legal Counsel Report-John Culp: Nothing. Cicero/Jackson Township Plan Commission Report-Mr. Strong. Nothing. Town Engineer Report-Mr. Keith Bryant – Written report submitted, see next page. 1 Old Business: Council To Approve Signing Mr. John Culp’s Contract of Employment For 2012 As Revised. The Council approved the changes in Mr. Culp’s contract and approved President Foster signing the contract. 2 Council To Approve The Revised Letter For Duke Energy For Utility Relocation On The Jackson Street Pedestrian Walkway Project. As stated in the e-mail from Keith Bryant, “This letter is the same as the past letter that the Town signed except that it does reference the City/County Utility Reimbursement Agreement and also clarifies in the same document that the upfront payment is not the full payment to Duke that they originally wanted. Mr. Schrumpf made a motion to approve signing the revised letter. Mr. Hayden seconded, motion passed. New Business: There was none. Comments from the Public There was none. Signatures on Official Documents! Mr. Hayden made a motion to adjourn the Town Council Meeting. Mr. Schrumpf seconded. Motion to adjourn passed. __________________________ Brett S.
