TOWN OF CICERO TOWN COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES TUESDAY, JULY 23, 2024 at 7:15 PM Call to Order: President Lutz called the meeting to order. Members of the Cicero Town Council were present or absent as follows: Present: Christopher Lutz Absent: Joseph Cox Dennis Johnson Eric Hayden Emily Pearson Declare a Quorum Present: President Lutz declared a meeting with three members present. Others Present: Rhonda Gary, Clerk Treasurer Dan Strong, Project Coordinator Aaron Culp, Town Attorney Miscellaneous: Food and Beverage (F&B) Tax - Public Hearing – President Lutz gave a brief intro to the F&B Tax. Mr. Culp explained that the Food and Beverage Tax Special Meeting was advertised as a separate special meeting as required. He also spoke of the process of the F&B Tax to include the order of events that has occurred and that will follow. President Lutz then asked for a motion to open the public hearing. Mr. Johnson made a motion to open the public hearing. Ms. Pearson seconded, motion carried 3-0. President Lutz asked if there were any comments from the public. There was none. Mr. Johnson made a motion to close the public hearing. Ms. Pearson seconded, motion carried 3-0. Motion to Adjourn: Ms. Pearson made the motion. Mr. Johnson seconded, motion carried 3-0.
