The Brown Act provides for an opportunity for members of the public to address the City Council concerning the item described below. Each speaker will be limited to four (4) continuous minutes. THIS IS AN IN-PERSON CITY COUNCIL MEETING. The public is invited to attend in-person at the address listed above. The City will require attendees to comply with any Los Angeles County health orders in effect at the time of the meeting, which may include social distancing and masking requirements. As a matter of public convenience, and technology permitting, the City will continue to allow members of the public to attend and participate in the meeting remotely via Zoom Video Communication. However, this is not a hybrid meeting under Assembly Bill 361 (Government Code Section 54953(e)). Please be advised that THE CITY WILL NOT SUSPEND THE MEETING IN THE EVENT OF A DISRUPTION TO THE REMOTE PLATFORM. Members of the public who choose to attend the meeting via Zoom (as opposed to in-person) should be aware that they are doing so at their own risk that they will be unable to participate in the event of a Zoom disruption. All comments received via mail will be distributed to the City Council and imaged into the record of the meeting. OPTION 4: TELEPHONICALLY – Members of the public wanting to address the City Council telephonically are requested to inform the Claremont City Clerk's office no later than 3:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. You will be called during consideration of the item you are interested in and given up to four minutes to speak. The meeting will not be live streamed through Granicus as the meeting will be live streamed through Zoom instead. The recorded meeting will be uploaded to the City website and preserved.
