Members of the audience will later have the opportunity to address the Commission regarding ALL OTHER ITEMS ON THE AGENDA at the time the Commission considers those items. At this time the Commission will take public comment for 30 minutes. Public Comment will resume later in the meeting if there are speakers who did not get an opportunity to speak because of the 30-minute time limit. The Brown Act prohibits the Commission from taking action on oral requests relating to items that are not on the agenda. The Commission may act on these items by one motion following public comment. Only Commissioners may pull an item from the consent calendar for discussion. LANDSCAPE AND LIGHTING DISTRICT ENGINEER’S REPORT AND ANNUAL LEVY FOR FISCAL YEAR 2018-19 Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Community and Human Services Commission discuss the contents of this report and recommend that the City Council adopt a Resolution approving the Engineer's Report and ordering a levy of $175.77/AU for fiscal year 2018-19. PROPOSED FEE INCREASES FOR SERVICES AT OAK PARK CEMETERY, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2018 Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Community and Human Services Commission approve the proposed fee changes and forward to the City Council for final review and approval. PROPOSED SANITATION RATE INCREASE OF 3.8 PERCENT BASED UPON THE CONSUMER PRICE INDEX (CPI) FROM MARCH 2017 TO MARCH 2018, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2018 Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Community and Human Services Commission approve the proposed rate increase and forward to City Council for approval.
