The Brown Act provides for an opportunity for members of the public to address the Community and Human Services Commission concerning the items described below. Each speaker will be limited to four (4) continuous minutes. CALL TO ORDER THE MEETING OF THE COMMUNITY AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION ROLL CALL ADMINISTRATIVE ITEMS 1. RESIGNATION OF COMMITTEE ON HUMAN RELATIONS COMMITTEE MEMBERS BEATRICE CASAGRAN AND ROSE ASH, AND CHAIR TO APPOINT AN AD HOC COMMITTEE TO CONDUCT INTERVIEWS Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Community and Human Services Commission: A. Accept with regret the resignation of Beatrice Casagran and Rose Ash from the Committee on Human Relations; and B. Chair to appoint two Commissioners to an Ad Hoc Committee to conduct interviews for potential Committee Members. COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATION (CBO) APPLICATIONS FY 19-20 FUNDING RECOMMENDATIONS Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Community and Human Services Commission provide funding recommendations for the City Council to fund for programs in the General Services and Homeless Services categories.
