Members of the audience will later have the opportunity to address the Traffic and Transportation Commission regarding ALL OTHER ITEMS ON THE AGENDA at the time the Commission considers those items. At this time the Commission will take public comment for 30 minutes. Public Comment will resume later in the meeting if there are speakers who did not get an opportunity to speak because of the 30-minute time limit. The Brown Act prohibits the Commission from taking action on oral requests relating to items that are not on the agenda. The Commission may engage in a brief discussion, refer the matter to staff, and/or schedule requests for consideration at a subsequent meeting. The Commission requests, but does not require, speakers to identify themselves. When you come up to speak, please state your name unless you wish to remain anonymous. CLAREMONT DIAL-A-RIDE SHORT-RANGE TRANSIT PLAN Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Traffic and Transportation Commission accept the 2020-23 Short-Range Transit Plan and forward to City Council for final review and approval. FLIXBUS PICK UP AND DROP OFF LOCATION - FIRST STREET AND COLLEGE AVENUE Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Traffic and Transportation Commission provide input on the FlixBus pick-up and drop-off location, and receive and file the staff report. UNITED STATES BICYCLE ROUTE SYSTEM (USBRS) - CLAREMONT PORTION OF UNITED STATES BICYCLE ROUTE 66 Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Traffic and Transportation Commission support the proposed designation; and staff further recommends that the Commission recommend that the City Council provide a letter of support for the designation of proposed U.S. Bicycle Route 66 through the City of Claremont.
