Order of Business 1) Roll Call 2) Prayer and Pledge (Councilmember Howe) 3) Approval of Minutes: a) Regular Session – May 1, 2025 4) Petitions, Communications and Public Hearings 5) Unfinished Business: a) Consideration of Second and Final Reading and Public Hearing of An Ordinance and Order Determining the Necessity For a Continuance of Levies for the Fiscal Years Beginning July 1, 2026, July 1, 2027, July 1, 2028, July 1, 2029, and July 1, 2030 for Improvements, Maintenance, Repairs, Equipment, Vehicles, and Capital Projects for Public Parks, Playgrounds, and Facilities Operated by the City of Clarksburg Board of Park Commissioners, for Improvements, Maintenance, Paving and Repairs to Streets, Alleys, Sidewalks, and Bridges, and for Purchase of Various Vehicles and Equipment for the Police and Fire Departments and Providing for Submission to the Voters Within the City of Clarksburg, West Virginia, the Question of Continuance of the Levy at the Election to be Held on the 12 th day of May, 2026, and Providing for the Holding and Determination of Such Election 6) New Business: a) Consideration of a Memorandum of Understanding by and between First Choice Services and the Clarksburg Police Department b) Consideration of a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Clarksburg Naming the Unnamed Alley Between North Florence Street and Pinnickinnick Street as “Cooper Way ” c) Consideration of a one-time grant to the Clarksburg History Museum in the amount of $10,000 – Report COC4 d) Consideration of a Resoluti on of the City of Clarksburg, West Virginia , Regarding the Hiring of a Social Worker or Simila r Employee utilizing opioid funds in an amount not to exceed $53,652.86 e) Consideration of the purchase of six (6) RIT packs and carrying bags for the Fire Department in the amount of $52,541 from Johnson’s Fire Equipment Company utilizing FEMA AFG funds – Report COC5 7) Council Comments 8) Adjournment
