GAS & WATER COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES June 20, 2019 City Hall Conference Room 3:45 p.m. MEMBERS PRESENT Chairman Valerie Guzman, Ron Erb, Tim Chandler, Gary Norris MEMBERS ABSENT David Allen OTHERS PRESENT Mark Riggins, Fred Klein, Camille Thomas, Mandy Phillips The meeting was called to order at 3:51 p.m. by Chairman Valerie Guzman. Minutes for the March 28, 2019 and April 25, 2019 Committee Meetings were unanimously approved. Bad Debt was reported by Fred Klein by explaining the write-off report for the month of May 2019. Fred Klein also reported the Financials for the month of May2019. Camille Thomas reported the Bid-Summary for the month. Camille Thomas also reported the following professional services:  Design Services for the Red River Bridge Pipeline Relocation from Clark Engineering & Utility Solutions, LLC in the amount of $49,900.00.  Design Services for the Highway 41A Gas Pipeline from Clark Engineering & Utility Solutions, LLC in the amount of $48,000.00.  Engineering Services for the WWTP Primary Building HVAC Replacement from Hazen & Sawyer in the amount of $30,000.00.  Engineering Services for the TDOT Utility Relocation at SR13/US79 from Holiday Drive to Alfred Thun Road from HDR Engineering, Inc. in the amount of $80,000.00.  Miscellaneous Easement Services as needed from Croft & Associates, LLC in the amount of $50,000.00.  Miscellaneous Engineering Services in Support of Capital Improvement Projects as needed from Hazen & Sawyer in the amount of $100,000.00.  Miscellaneous WWTP Facility Improvements from Hazen & Sawyer in the amount of $255,360.00.  Sango Water System Improvements from AECOM Technical Services, Inc. in the amount of $1,200,000.00. Sale of surplus property on GovDeals.com for the month of April and May 2019 totaling $1,731.00 was reported by Camille Thomas. Mark Riggins presented and discussed the department reports included in the packet. ORDINANCE 1-2019-20 Accepting the donation of property for the HSC Water Tank. Tim Chandler made a motion for approval, Ron Erb seconded it, and the same passed unanimously to full council. ORDINANCE 2-2019-20 Authorizing purchase of property at 111 Cunningham Lane for the City of Clarksville Gas & Water Department North Service Center. Gary Norris made a motion for approval, Ron Erb seconded it, and the same passed unanimously to full council. ORDINANCE 3-2019-20 Authorizing purchase of property at Fort Campbell Boulevard for Meadowbrook Sewer Pump Station. Ron Erb made a motion for approval, Tim Chandler seconded it, and the same passed unanimously to full council. Meeting was adjourned at 4:12 p.m.
