CALL TO ORDER/OUORUM CHECK The meeting was called to order by Allen Senseney. Members present were Carol Clark and Councilman Travis Holleman II. ADOPTION OF MINUTES: July 30Ih, 2020 (rescheduled from July 2lst, 2020) Councilman Holleman made a motion to approve-Mrs. CIark seconded--all members voted in favor. August 4th, 2020 (Special Called Parking Commission Meeting Mrs. Clark made a motion-Mr. Senseney seconded-all members voted in favor. III. GUEST(S) Michael Palmore-Premier Parking IV. DEPARTMENTREPORT Financial Report: The financial report was provided by Regina Hampton. Mrs. Hampton began with the month to date report (this is the first month of our fiscal year 2021-so month to date and year to date will be the sameFwe had $46,910 in revenue for the month of July. Expenses were $33,439-profit this month of $5,554. Mrs. Clark asked about the difference of $5,000 (professional services were up-but operating expenses were down for the month). Smart Meter Report: Mr. Palmore provided the report-There is a total of 27 sensors down- ll6 are working currently. We are shipping back 7 dome sensors and 24 meters. IPS will be in town next week to help with shipping and help with answering some questions and give knowledge on meters. IPS will also help with rolling out the changes for September 8th. V. NEWBUSINESS VI. OLD BUSINESS VII. MISCELLANEOUS DISCUSSION Mrs. Hampton asked if anyone had questions about the changes or any feedback they've received on the changes that will take place on September 8th. Mr. Senseney said he had received good and bad-the elimination of the first hour free-but people are happy that there will be consistency. They will still receive I hour and 15 minutes with a quarter. Mrs. Hampton did inform the commission of derogatory decals that have been placed on meters--one being mailed in with a parking ticket payment,  Mrs. Hampton also noted that this is Mr. Senseney's last meeting-and thanked him for his sen,ice.
