MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC ARE, BY LAW, ALLOWED TO ATTEND MEETINGS OF THE TREE BOARD, BUT ARE STRONGLY DISCOURAGED TO DO SO AT THIS TIME. 2:30: Call to order—Wes Powell Motion: “In order to comply with the technical aspects of the Governor’s Executive Order regarding holding open meetings in a forum other than in the open and in public, the Clarksville Tree Board determines that meeting electronically is necessary to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens due to the COVID-19 outbreak.” Adoption of minutes from previous meeting. Continuing business: 1. City Forester Update – Kathrine a. Tree City USA annual conference is this month i. https://www.arborday.org/programs/treecityusa/conference/ b. Tree City USA application and Growth Award were submitted c. 3 Memorial Trees for January d. Tree replacements on Franklin St. e. Seedling orders Old business: 1. Arbor Day tree give-away at Trahern Mansion a. March 5th b. 5 tree limit per person c. Need to set times and Covid precautions/procedures d. Need volunteers, newspapers and bags 2. Tennessee Tree Day at APSU/Pettus Park a. March 20th (9:00-5:00) and 21st (9:00-1:00) b. Need Volunteers. 3. Urban Forestry Plan  New business: 1.
