MINUTES CITY OF CLEARLAKE CITY COUNCIL & REDEVELOPMENT SUCCESSOR AGENCY REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 10, 2013 CALL TO ORDER REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING: 6:01 P.M. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Vice Mayor Loustalot. Roll Call. Present: Jeri Spittler, Mayor Denise Loustalot, Vice Mayor Gina Fortino Dickson, Councilmember Joey Luiz, Councilmember Joyce Overton, Councilmember Staff: Joan Phillipe, City Manager Craig Clausen, Chief of Police Melissa Swanson, City Clerk AGENDA APPROVAL, ADDITIONS AND/OR DELETIONS There were no additions or deletions from the agenda. PUBLIC COMMENT – There was no public comment. CONSENT CALENDAR 1. Minutes of the December 13, 2012 Meeting Review and file 2. Receipt of Membership Benefits Report from Receive and file, no action required League of California Cities 3. Notification from U.S. Environmental Receive and file, no action required Protection Agency Regarding Construction of Test Covers in Clear Lake – Sulphur Bank Mercury Mine Superfund Site 4. Upcoming Planning Commission Term Receive and file, no action required Expirations 5. Notification from Mediacom of Programming Receive and file, no action required Change 6. Receipt of Final Resolutions Report from Receive and file, no action required League of California Cities 7. Receipt of Lake County Vector Control District Receive and file, no action required CCM 01-10-13 Page 1 of 2 November 14, 2012 Meeting Minutes ACTION: It was moved by Council Member Luiz and seconded by Council Member Fortino Dickson to approve the Consent Calendar as presented. The motion passed with a 5-0 voice vote. BUSINESS 8. Mayor Appointments to Various Commissions, Committees and Boards Joan Phillipe gave the staff report. ACTION: Mayor Spittler made appointments as listed on the attached Mayor’s Appointment List. It was moved by Council Member Luiz and seconded by Vice Mayor Loustalot to approve the appointments as made by Mayor Spittler. The motion passed with a 5-0 voice vote. CITY MANAGER’S REPORT COUNCIL MEMBERS CALENDAR, TRAVEL AND REPORTS It was the consensus of the Council to allow the Lower Lake High School Basketball Team to plant flowers and post a plaque at Redbud Park.
