MINUTES CITY OF CLEARLAKE CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING JUNE 30, 2011 CALL TO ORDER SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING: 8:00 A.M. Special Meeting noticed June 28, 2011. Roll Call. Present: Joyce Overton, Mayor Joey Luiz, Vice Mayor Curt Giambruno, Councilmember Judy Thein, Councilmember Absent: Jeri Spittler, Councilmember Staff: Robert Galusha, Interim City Administrator Melissa Swanson, City Clerk Doug Herren, Director of Public Works BUSINESS 1. Consideration of Awarding the Bid for the Burns Valley Safe Routes To School Project. Staff report was given by Robert Galusha. ACTION: It was moved by Council Member Thein and seconded by Vice Mayor Luiz to waive the clerical error of CK Doud Construction as immaterial to the bid and award the Burns Valley Safe Routes to School Project to the low bidder, CK Doud Construction for the base bid in the amount of $115,848.80. The motion passed with a unanimous voice vote of 4-0-1, with Council Member Spittler absent.
